AIRPLANE PHOTOGRAPH OF THE CALIFORNIA PERFUME COMPANY'S MANUFACTURING PLANT AT SUFFERN, N. Y.

This being a modern day and age let us step into an airplane and fly up the majestic Hudson River to our plant at Suffern, New York, about thirty miles from New York City. This will enable you to best appreciate the plant's beautiful location, nestled among the lovely hills of the Ramapo Valley, one of the most glorious spots in the eastern part of the United States. From your aerial vantage point you can also obtain a good idea of the size of the plant, which covers 25,000 square feet of ground area and embraces 100,000 square feet of floor space.

ANOTHER VIEW OF THE CALIFORNIA PERFUME COMPANY'S PLANT AT SUFFERN, N. Y.

Descending to the ground, we obtain a close-up of the plant, the first unit of which was constructed in 1897. The present building (only the last two additions of which can be seen in the photograph) are twenty times the size of the original factory. Thoroughly up-to-date, the present plant stands as a monument to the ability and success of you and thousands of other representatives. The quality of the California Perfume Company products reflects the beauty of the surroundings in which they are made, their purity reflects the spotless cleanliness of this great plant.

Cream Department at the Suffern, NY Plant
CREAM DEPARTMENT
SUFFERN N. Y.

In this department are manufactured the CPC cream preparations. Only the most modern machinery is used. As an illustration: one machine revolves at such tremendous speed that the material is literally torn apart. This results in a cream so fine that when applied to the skin it absorbs much more rapidly and effectively than ordinary creams. The man in the foreground is pouring finished cream into a funnel leading to the floor below where the cream is put up in jars.
